Welcome to UniTru! These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("User") and UniTru Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania ("UniTru," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Serve

UniTru connects high school students, their school counselors or educators, and their parents or family members with verified college student guides for live, virtual tours and authentic conversations about college life. Users under 13 years old may not create an account. For users under 18, parental or institutional consent is obtained through membership purchase or school-provided access.

2. What UniTru Provides

UniTru offers a secure platform that facilitates connections and various services between students and verified college guides, along with tools for scheduling, booking, and communication. Counselors and educators may also access dashboards for school-based use. UniTru does not provide official admissions services or endorse any institution.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Use the Platform only for lawful, educational purposes.
  • Provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • Respect the privacy, safety, and dignity of all participants.
  • Follow all posted codes of conduct and community guidelines.

You may not share false, offensive, or harmful content; record or distribute sessions without consent; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its data.

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of UniTru is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using UniTru, you consent to our collection and use of data as described there, consistent with FERPA, COPPA, and other applicable laws.

5. Intellectual Property

All text, design, software, trademarks, and content on the Platform belong to UniTru Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to maintain a safe and reliable service, UniTru cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniTru is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When changes occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised Terms.
