Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to some of our frequently asked questions

01
What is UniTru?

UniTru is a customizable university tour service. All tours are virtual and led by current students. We won’t sell you on a school, we’ll tell you what you need to know so you can make the best decision for your future. The experience is completely customizable, you tell us what your ideal tour would be, and we’ll create it for you!

02
How do the tours work?

Customers select a university, guide, and preferred tour type on our website. After purchase, they receive a follow-up email to schedule and customize their tour. On the scheduled date, both the guide and customer connect via Zoom for the custom guided tour, where the guide showcases the desired parts of campus, downtown areas, and answers any questions. For pre-recorded tours, after purchase you’ll still receive an email with a customization survey. After completing that, our tour guide plans a 15-minute route based on your preferences, records the tour, and sends it back within 3-5 business days.

03
How can I schedule a tour?

To schedule a tour, go to the university tab and choose a university, guide, and preferred tour type. After purchase, you'll receive a follow-up email with links to schedule and customize your tour. After you schedule and customize your experience we’ll email you a Zoom link!
